I'm not sure where I got this from, but it's really facinating. It's a coin set from 1959 with a half-dollar, quarter, dime, nickel and penny. All PROOF and encased in a crystal clear resin.
On the bottom it says "U.S. PROOF COINS".
The resin has preserved their quality perfectly.
Moving it around, I get different and unusual views of the coins.
These will never be removed from the resin, since it would likely damage the coins. But that's ok, it's fine the way they are.
