Afternoon everyone….
It’s been a ridiculously crazy week for me both personally and professionally. I was kinda worried by the beginning of February when my phone wasn’t ringing for any work. Well I guess spring fever has hit them and my phone has been blowing up.
I started on a job site late last week. It’s a pretty involved job. I am making an enormous bedroom smaller. This was the original master bedroom of the house. The original home owners put an addition on the other side of the house roughly five years ago. The new master bedroom is even more ridiculous in size than this one is.
So the bedroom I’m working on is twenty six feet by thirty four feet. Yes that’s ridiculous. There is currently only a regular depth closet which is roughly eight feet wide. Behind that closet is one of two common bathrooms upstairs. The one behind this only has a small corner shower stall.
My scope of work is to take down the walls of the closet, taken down the common wall between the bathroom and bedroom. Move the wall into the bedroom by seven feet. Making room for a walk in tub, full size shower and a linen closet. Next to it will become a twelve foot by seven foot walk in closet. I am doing all of the work on this minus the plumbing and electrical.
I am leaving for Costa Rica on Monday morning so I need to get to where the plumber and electrician can start their work while I’m gone.
So I’m struggling to get there. Meanwhile I also had two new machines delivered yesterday that I had to leave the job site to go unload. They are going to have to wait.
I need to get back to work now….
