Well, I woke up to this yesterday 👆 and was quite excited, it's the first snow of the season for us and there is more in the forecast :D
Anyhow, the other day I received a Christmas card from an SSG-OG, . Though it was a regular size envelope with a card inside I could feel a slight...bulge in the center and knew, from experience, there were two sure things in this envelope.
- Silver
- Fkucing glitter
So, over to the trash I went to open this Christmas glitter-bomb. Well, I was right, it was full of glitter, and I was going to take a picture but the glitter was charged with static electricity and was sticking to everything, including the card, the envelope, my hands, the trash bag... :(
I finally got the out from under the glitter and I found this gem!
So awesome! A vintage Mother Lode Mint Las Vegas silver bar.
Looks like this bar was minted nearly 50 years ago in 1973. Well, I took it right out of the plastic bag and have been carrying it around in my pocket for the last couple days.
I even went out for a walk in the snow with it yesterday morning with the intent of taking some silver in the snow glam shots but I forgot my phone so was only able to get this shot after I got home 😂🤣
Thank you
!!
This is an awesome bar that will stay in the permanent stack (most likely 😬) and might even make it to the SGS Las Vegas Lost Weekend in March.
