I've been selling a few things on eBay recently, which means I've been browsing the site as well, and I found this !!
True to it's name, the Anonymous Mint is kind of a mystery. In the 20-teens they minted some awesome silver rounds, which are all on their website, but just pictures. The website seems to be abandoned at the moment and they are obviously not minting silver.
I ordered one of their rounds on my first silver order in 2016 and by some dumb luck I ended up with number 2 of 3000!
I've posted this coin before and it's one of my favorites, in fact it's the same design as this #titanium bar.
Titanium was discovered in Cornwall, Great Britain, by William Gregor in 1791 and was named by Martin Heinrich Klaproth after the Titans of Greek mythology. Titanium is a strong metal with a low density and is recognized for its high strength-to-weight ratio.
Here are a few photos along side a 2oz silver round.
I wonder what weighs more, a pound of silver or a pound of titanium?
