Hello everyone!
Here's a coin a picked up some time back at a flea market. It's a nice 1946 walking liberty half dollar. It was relatively well circulated and worn, but I still love these coins. One of the best designs the US mint ever designed in my humble opinion. Some quick information about it:
Mint: Philadelphia
Minted: 12,118,000
Composition: 90% silver/ 10% copper
Weight: 12.5 grams
Diameter: 30.6 mm
I always felt it was a shame they left this design, but was thrilled when they started the silver eagles with this same image. These are great for collecting and can often be found very heavily circulated as junk silver. Thanks for taking the time to check it out!
