Banana Cue is one of pinoy favorite merienda or snacks. It is easy to prepare and the ingredients is easy. I loved the sweet taste and the caramel coated at the banana. It is a friendly wallet too, if you have a banana tree at your backyard like us, you save 250 pesos coz good banana now is 5 pesos each at the market if you decided to cooked 50 pcs of banana.
Let me share to you the ingredients and how to cook.
Ingredients for Banana Cue
50 pcs Saba
1/4 kilo Brown sugar
1/2 liter Cooking Oil
15pcs. Banana Stick
How to Cook Banana Cue
Heat the stove over medium low heat , pour the cooking oil, reminder need the banana deep at oil for better cooking. Put the brown sugar to make it caramelize, then add the Saba and put a little amount of brown sugar until it coated. If you saw the banana getting golden brown color, remove it at the pan and place it at the plate. You can use a napkin or banana leaves to lessen the oil. You can serve it now on plate or skewer at banana stick. Now you have a tasty healthy snack, happy eating.
