John Rodney Mullen was born August 17, 1966 and changed the course of skating by inventing many tricks including the kickflip, heelflip, impossible, and 360-flip and is known as one of the best freestyle riders of the sport.

At 14 Mullen entered the Oasis Pro competition, defeating the world champion, Steve Rocco and has recently debut new tricks.
