Our last Sketchwalk 2 weeks ago was our 39th Sketchwalk where was held at the old Telekom Museum building in Jalan Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur.

The old colonial British building was built in 1928, originally used as the office for manual telephone exchange and upgraded to mechanical telephone exchange in the year 1938. The building is listed in the Malaysian Heritage list as one of the protected building in Malaysia. It was upgraded and redesigned as museum and opened to public in 1994.

There are not much building as such nowadays in the heart of the city center as most of the new one are going for the vertical, highrise buildings to maximise the usage of the precious lands. Ive been seeing this building almost everyday once upon a time because it is very near to my sister's school, the SMK Convent Bukit Nanas but never had the chance to check the place out, so here we are.
It was rather a relaxing good weather day where it was not so hot and it didn't rain at all, we gathered and move across the road to get a good view of the building. We sat in front of an office there but luckily it was closed through the weekends so we gathered on the steps in front of the offices.
There was about 13 people turned up including out committee members. Few of the newcomers claims that they never even sketch anything before. Being a KLSketchnation, we encourage everyone to be able to sketch.
And heres the aftermath....
After few hours of sketching we gathered for show and tell.
And we voted for the lucky winners to get some of our merchandise.
As for myself, ive got to complete an A2 watercolour pleinair on 300gsm Fabriano paper.
Thank you..:)
