Hi Steemit,
Like I already mentioned, I am a big skimboarding fan.
I love going to the beach and having a fun day with some friends skimboarding.
I now have three skimboards that I use for skimboarding flatland or wave.
I bought my first board when I was 10, this board I do not have anymore because I used it so much that it wasn't usable anymore.
Then I wanted to get a little more serious and bought an intermediate level board which was for wave riding. This is the grey ''Victoria skimboards'' board (as seen on the picture below). This board is made out of fiber glass and is a great board to start learning how to do ride waves. I added traction pads to have a better grip. But since it is still pretty heavy, it is not the best for reaching waves further!
But this board is specially for wave riding and I wanted a board for flatland skimboarding too! That's why I bought another board from the brand DB skimboards. This is a special board that is a lot heavier and therefore is better for flatland skimboarding. It has great traction because the full board is lined with the traction pad. This makes it easier to land tricks.
But after some time I wanted to have a better wave riding board. Because I am a big fan of the Victoria skimboards company, I chose to buy another wave riding board there. They have an option where you can customize your own board. I chose a full poly carbon fiber skimboard and I customized the design. I love the colors red and black and I wanted to have nice traction pads on the board too. I also chose to have the diagonal lines on the bottom, the ''P'' and the '' Victoria'' logo on the board.
I can't wait to get out to the beach and skimboard again! I haven't been skimboarding for a few months since it is winter time now but this summer I will be on the beach again a lot!
On the picture below you can see the three boards together! Please tell me what you think about the boards and if you like the design of my custom Victoria skimboard.
Stay tuned for more posts on skimboarding!
Have a nice day further!
