Dealing with our insecurities takes time to definitely embrace or work on it. In my case it took me years to embrace the skin I am in.
We all have insecurities and mine really affected me hard. During my highschool and college days I have always been dealing with cystic acne, severe oily sensitive skin and textured skin with large pores.
This photo is one of the photos I took when I felt like I am on my ugliest stage of dealing with acne because I have already deleted my other worst photos due to it badly affects my self esteem and I don't want to be back on that phase.
Little by little I tried watching skincare documentaries or skincare routines on social media platforms , It did help me a lot because I did somehow learn as to how I can distinguish my skin type, my skin concerns and the types of ingredients that my skin may need.
