I still drink some coffee because of my need to push myself into awaking and stimulating my brain and sense in the morning. I do not drink anymore after that because I know that coffee or too much of it will negatively affect my health especially my sleep quality.
Now I since I do not drink coffee anymore at night time I cannot help myself to sleep it off and now I do sleep because my body just needs it so that it can repair itself plus the refresh effect it does to our brains.
True enough because I can feel the small differences within my body after sleeping and getting a much needed rest. Now I do not fight my sleepiness with artificially stimulating my brain with coffee because it is just better to sleep and go with my body's natural need for it.
I do have a love-hate relationship with sleeping because I hate the fact that I just waste time and lifetime with sleeping. Of course I wouldn't be productive if I would be idle and sleeping but it is just a basic need that we have to fulfill in order for our body and brains to recuperate and somewhat "refresh."
But if only I can do without sleeping I will not sleep because I could not do more with my short life if I would just spend a big chunk of my time in this world if I would sleep around. It really is a short life in which in the end is just nothing to do because we will eventually not be ale to do more when we get old and weaker.
