Many positions, and combinations of pillows and positions to try and find
The least painful, that will allow me to at least FALL asleep.
It is most often relatively easy to fall asleep with a pillow under both knees,
And my head slightly raised/propped up as I watch TV
(I know my neighbors LOVE that), but I've always been a
"ROLLER" meaning I never remain in one position.
Sleeping on either side was QUITE painful, as it either place my whole
Body's weight ON my hip (if I tried to sleep on my right side) or it pulled my
Right hip joint APART (via gravity) if I tried sleeping on my left side.

After months of experimenting, I arrived on this; A FAT bed pillow on my
Left side, sort of between my knees, me sort of hugging it, BUT MAINLY
My right knee and thigh resting on that pillow!
Since I sleep in a twin bed, this necessitated that I be relatively near
The right edge of the bed behind me.
(I put on shorts to keep from offending any one, and I would have been under a sheet anyway)
So, a little while ago, in my sleep, I began a slow roll onto my back!!!
And with the GENEROUS help of Mother Nature and GRAVITY, my right
Leg splayed wide, causing my hip to quickly fall wide slap open!😱
With nothing but unsupported air, and the floor underneath.
The latter steps occurring in relatively rapid succession, meant
