Kiki bringing the news with her like...
The girl witch Kiki is never parted from her lil radio even on the go! She ties the small red device on her broom and away she goes on her usual delivery route. This is inspired from the real character of the same name created by Studio Ghibli.
I wish I could have a small magical radio that would tell me all the news I need to hear about what's happening in the crypto scene while soaring through the air on my broom, my cute cat, and a cup of noodles! (Inspiration was gotten from an actual Japanese commercial which used Kiki for a cup noodle ad).
Slothicorn and Me
This is my little contribution to 's fantastic movement to...
incentivize the creation Quality Art within the Crypto Currency community.
I am new to the Steemit scene and digital currencies in general, but when I found out about this initiative, I was excited to share my art and discover other artists on this platform!
Self-portrait of the Artist, after drawing all night.
Finding was another turning point, introducing me to a new way to share my art and view other's art too, at the same time, bringing more awareness to the awesomeness that is Steemit and the crypto-world in general.
If you make art yourself, I highly encourage you to read up on this brilliant group. They have recently updated their rules so please check it out here.
My CryptoArt
Here are some of the things I created so far...
A submission for an illustration contest about Slothicorn's Genesis Story
A comic about how I spend my earnings... :'D
Share this Art
has also inspired me to share my art as creative commons. All art I publish with the CC license is free to share and modify, but please do give credit. :D
I made a few versions of Kiki with the crypto concept and I'm sharing them all here separately:
A version without the words in the radio bubble
A version without the Crypto title
And the cleanest version so far. No words.
Process GIF
This piece was done with ArtRage Lite software using the ink pen tool and the watercolor brush. I start out by making a rough draft using a light blue color, then layering the final darker outline with a thicker black pen. The rest is just coloring the artwork with my watercolor brush, similar to how you would color in a coloring book. :)

Last but not least
A big thank you to my sister who introduced me to Steemit and all things Crypto. She supports my work constantly and is a big reason why I am inspired to create everyday.
Cheers to sisterhood.
Thanks for viewing my work and happy steeming! Till next time...
