Hi to everyone from Slovenia.
Today we are celebrating our Independence Day, when on 26. December 1990 we decided to leave Socialist federative Yugoslavia to become an Independent State.
Many thing passed through, there was also a short independence war, but thanks to the wisdom and historical moment, we worked it out bypassing the rest of Balkan tragedy and today we are part of a big family of european nations forming the European Union. Of course a lot of things could be managed better in all this decades from independence to the integration in EU, but still we are happy of what we are and have today, hoping to have and bring a better future also for the next generations.
