نبی کریمﷺنے فرمایا سورج اور چاند میں گرہن کسی شخص کی موت سے نہیں لگتا۔یہ دونوں تو اللہ تعالی کی قدرت کی نشانیاں ہیں۔اس لیے اسے دیکھتے ہی کھڑے ہو جاو اور نماز پڑھو۔
رسول اللہ ﷺ کے زمانہ میں سورج گرہن اس دن لگا جس دن (آپﷺ کے صاحبزادے)ابراہیم ؓ کا انتقال ہوا بعض لوگ کہنے لگے کہ گرہن ابراہیمؓ کی وفات کی وجہ سے لگا ہے۔ اس لیے رسول اللہﷺ نے فرمایا کہ گرہن کسی کی موت و حیات سے نہیں لگتا۔البتہ تم جب اسے دیکھو تو نماز پڑھا کرو اور دعا کیا کرو۔
English
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, "It is not the death of a person in the sun and moon." These two are signs of the power of Allah. So stand standing while watching it and praying.
