In a couple earlier postss analyzed the inflation rate of SmartCash as well as historical SmartRewards payout percentages by month. In this post I attempt to estimate the SmartRewards payout percentages in future months through March of 2018.
I am basing my SmartRewards payout percentage estimates on the assumption that, on average, the SmartRewards will be roughly 50% of SmartCash inflation because that is roughly what the average was in November, October, and September (e.g. 50%, 54%, and 43% averages to 49%). Also, the SmartRewards Calculator currently estimates the December rewares payout at 7.51% which is up from the 7.38% estimate is gave about a week ago which means that by December 25th it will probably get pretty close to 8% which would be roughly 50% of the 16% of SMART inflation in December.
Below is a table that shows the estimates through March of 2018. It will be interesting to see how accurate the estimates below turn out to be. If I had to guess, then I think the actual SmartRewards payout percentages may be slightly lower than the estimates shown below.
| Month | Monthly SMART Inflation | SmartRewards Payout % |
|---|---|---|
| 25 Nov 2017 | 26.73% | 13.45% (actual) |
| 25 Dec 2017 | 16.00% | 8.0% (estimated) |
| 25 Jan 2018 | 11.72% | 5.9% (estimated) |
| 25 Feb 2018 | 8.88% | 4.4% (estimated) |
| 25 Mar 2018 | 6.43% | 3.2% (estimated) |
