The authorities of Vladivostok announced a comprehensive program of innovative development, which will involve specialists from South Korea and China.
The main aim of the innovative development program is to make the life of Vladivostok citizens easier and more comfortable, and it is based on the principle of introducing information technologies in all spheres of city life.
Chinese experts within the framework of the program will implement the project “Solar roof”, which involves the creation of a new helionergetic group in Vladivostok, which allows to diversify the city’s energy balance and to reduce the consumption of energy produced by burning hydrocarbons.
Information technologies will have to enter into medicine, transport, city management systems. The use of blockchain technology will allow a full change to electronic document management.
According to the mayor of Vladivostok Oleg Gumenyuk, it is the citisens of the city who should be the first to assess all the advantages of the program:
- The smart city is both getting rid of queues in public institutions, and improving the work of transport, and fighting traffic jams, and easier access to information, — said the mayor.
Some of the projects are currently undergoing the audit procedure, some are already being implemented and will be started before the end of 2019.
