Did you see the guess what post from a few days ago?
If not, here it is https://steemit.com/guess/@mariannewest/20180223t011247566z-post
We had a lot of fun with the guessing game. Well, at least I had and hope that you did as well. The best guess was by . She guessed that it was a giant whack-the-mole game. I like that idea but am not sure that I want to meet a giant mole in person. 🤪
In this picture, you can see the next phase of the project. The post holders are set and cemented in. We were dealing with quite an uneven ground here. Each block is sitting in a cutout. You notice that some are sunk in all the way while the ones in the foreground are sitting almost on top of the asphalt. The posts cut to different length are the solution to create a level base for this shed.
The beams were painted before setting them in.
Now, I don't want you to think that I am building the shed. Mark is. He is a member of the California Rare Fruit Growers. The shed is at the Bancroft Center for Sustainability and will house the library of the club and also other garden-related books.
We also hope to house our dishes and cutlery library in it.
If you give a party - instead of using disposables - come and borrow plates, forks, cups - whatever you need.
