A Must Stop
If you're taking the B-Road instead of the boring highway (and congested most of the time during holidays traffic), Bidor is one of the town you have to stop by for one of the reason that I have found out recently during the Chinese New Year balik kampung journey.
Cokes, Chinese lanterns, Indian Moslems and colonial era shoplots architecture, all frozen in one moment
I have been driving to Ipoh up and down for years and most of the time I skipped the B-Road. But Ive been getting tired of highway's congestion and chose an alternative way. Yes there is also slight congestion in the B-Road when u reach near town area but the things you get when you reach the town is much better in offerings compared to the always-packed NKVE Highway Rest and Relax.
The Goodies
Im not the guy to name all the food and fruits but I can eat them and take photos of them. And here I am sharing it with you guys so you guys know what Bidor has to offer.
And one of the shop with a KILLER Wan Tan Mee! (I somehow miraclously didnt take the photo of it). A must have when you drop by Bidor.
And some local biscuits and cookies in the same shop. Great for take aways and ole2 for family and collegues in the city.
So next time you plan a trip to the north or south please do add Bidor as one of your Rest and Relax destination.
The charm and taste. The story its telling without any words spoken, by just looking around.
