There is a scaffold fortress in front of the fishing port in Casablanca. The fort was built during the 18th century. The place has Atlantic-oriented vents, which are a few remnants of the kingdom of Sidi Abdallah
The Scaffold Fort was rebuilt by Sultan Sadi Abdallah in 1769 as a center for the defense of the Atlantic. The scaffold is a defensive fortress that offers a panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean.
Fort Scaffold was the site of an attack on the city of Casablanca between 1470 and 1468 to a Portuguese attack during the period of the holy jihad. The fortress was destroyed during the earthquake that struck the city of Casablanca and was then ordered by Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdallah 1755 to rebuild it.
The Scalar Fort was renovated during the reign of Sultan Moulay Youssef in 1913. Despite the military role of the scaffold fortress, French colonialism did not destroy it and preserved its building as the king of the Moroccan state.
Al-Sakkar Fort is now a coffee shop where it is classified as a UNESCO human heritage. The fort is the province of Sidi Beliout.
