Well here is a sign that you will not see everyday! This is the old wooden deck bridge over the Wenatchee river in the town of Plain Washington. Plain Washington got it's name in the 1800's when the Postmaster complained that no one had decided on a name for the town. The townspeople said just give us a plain name........so they did.......Plain Washington!
Although unsafe anymore for auto's the locals use this bridge to connect to the homes on the other side of the river, and of course snowmobile's ! There is a new bridge for auto's, they just kept this historical bridge.
So bring your snowmobile...........Winter can bring deep snow, and its beautiful! :)
