Here are the last pictures of my route along the Costa de la luz, in Cádiz, last week.
After seeing the natural paradises of Caños de Meca and Zahora, now it is the turn of "El Palmar".
Considered one of the most virgin areas of the province of Cádiz, is a beautiful and huge beach of fine golden sand, with extraordinary conditions for surfing, bodyboarding, and different adventure sports: Its waters are clean, transparent and of little depth, what makes it an ideal beach for a holiday.
The beach bars, for me, are the best of El Palmar. During the day, these charming chiringuitos (beach bars) are transformed into craft markets and you can eat or just have a drink while you enjoy their curious and colorful stalls. There are usually activities for children, shows and pets are always welcome, as well as its neighbors Zahora and Caños de Meca, creates a relaxed and very welcoming atmosphere.
At dusk, music takes over this place and concerts begin to sound from all directions. Those who stay to watch the sunset on the beach count the seconds so that it is hidden by the sea and then dismiss it celebrating with applause. It is a tradition that I love, I think we should enjoy and celebrate more often those magical moments that life gives us and that besides being free, are available to everyone.
These natural sites still exist thanks to environmental groups such as “Ecologístas en Acción”, who continue to fight so that both the beach of El Palmar and others of the environment, can preserve this virgin state so admired by its visitors.
I have loved to share with you these natural paradises because there are many memories of good times that come to my memory to see these photos and for me it is always a pleasure to visit these beaches. Perhaps the great reflection that left
in my previous post is true, maybe what makes a place magical are the memories and emotions it generates in you and not so much the place itself, but I am sure that if some day you pass by there, the beauty and a good atmosphere of this place will make your trip unforgettable.
If you want to discover more the area you are invited to visit my last post
