Pre-coffee musings.
I noticed that some young women, mainly of the sort that take a selfie every 10 minutes under the mistaken apprehension they are more interesting than their surroundings, use the screen and front-facing camera of their smartphones as a make-up mirror.
There's probably a special app for that, as most of them strike me as too stupid to have come up with the idea themselves. You know the type.
So now they don't have to carry a little mirror around anymore, and can delegate yet another part of their lives to their smartphones. Nothing new there, nothing to see, move along.
But it did make me wonder.
As a smartphone is not a proper mirror, could a vampire use it instead of a mirror or would there still be nothing on the screen because they use it as a mirror?
I think this is a question of some importance to future generations of film makers.
Would a really smart smartphone in mirror-mode just show this if you're a vampire?
I want an answer. And coffee. Loads of the stuff.
