Beautiful morningš
Laundry time yesterday. I brought most of them from BCācurtains, rags, my soiled clothes, shoes, etc, because water is scarce there. We started at 10 in the morning and were done around 2 in the afternoon (minus lunchtime). With the generous sun, we didn't have to use the dryer.
It was tiring yet fulfilling to have emptied the hamper. The hubby ran to the market afterwards for some stuff. But before that, he teased me with a Smirnoff beer. I noticed he has a few (4) bottles of it in the fridge (last time, there were canned Heineken, I popped one but didn't finish).
"Shall I open one for you?" he asked.
"Sure!" I was up for it. "It must be good since today is hot!" I continued. So he passed me one, which I enjoyed sipping (directly from the bottle) while in front of my PC. My pulutan (appetizers) were tempura chips and chilled cucumber (I forgot to take a pic).
Meanwhile, Yongi kept peeking through the door, waiting and barking whenever he noticed something outside. Just when I thought of calling the hubby to buy ice cream, I heard the bike roaring up the driveway.
Our lil boy couldn't contain his excitement when his Dada came back. He must know something I don't.
Well, the Dada came in with a few things, including a Dan & Eric's Halo-Halo ice cream (in a mini tub). He made me choose which flavor I'd prefer. I picked Ube, so he had the mango. We (Yongi and I) finished it before taking a photo, lol!
The teasing went on when he noticed that my face was as red as my shirt. "I think you need one more bottle," he grinned. "It only had 6% alcohol," he went on.
Yep, I like the taste, but the lime flavor is a bit overwhelming. I have had the drink before at my brother's house, and it was okay then. My taste buds must have gotten older now, lol!
Anyway, it was a lovely afternoon. We brought our little boy outside to play. Bath time followed, and a quiet evening for us three.
