After 20 years of density'ing the tobacco plants through my bodily system into the finer realms, becoming sort of the grounding rod for the tobacco spirit or whatever it is I am doing when I smoke tobacco - I'm taking a potentially dangerous decision for my health: I am stopping smoking. Altogether.
Most people would say "what are you talking about, it's a good decision!" but most people also go voting for politicians, think sending their kids to government schools is basically a good idea or believe pathogenic viruses invisible to the naked eye exist, so their programmed take on what is good for MY health means very little to me. Don't take advice from the herd, kids!
I have no idea what I'm doing, I just go with what comes up here, and quitting smoking has been coming my way for a while. I got reasons, but I just witness: today is the day.
But aren't you all still reading to hear the reasons?! Well, alright then:
I find it fascinating how governments all over the globe planet world have suddenly jumped at the chance advocating for people's health by banning or curtailing smoking to a huge degree, magically at the same time. The same governments who still advocate for chemotherapy to this day, if you can believe THAT!
I'm sure they have no ulterior motives, I mean do governments EVER?!, right?
They banned smoking because they are oh so keen on with having healthy populations that are not relying on any of artificial poison system like their pharmaceutical complex. Hmmm, OK, if you say so...
What else? Tobacco has been prescribed and celebrated by many peoples on Earth as a healing herb for an eternity, specifically for lung issues. Then we also have all the mainstream fakes about the lung cancer connection, and the germanic new medicine take on cancer and its origins having absolutely zero to do with the tobacco and plausibly more with the constant fear-tripping of inducing fright of death in smokers and the gullible people near them through scare tactics, marketing campaigns and ever audacious visualizations.
I will spare you the extreme black magic spell examples they print on their labels but make no mistake: It IS a spell. It's programming - so plain and simple any child will comprehend, but most "adults" will not. But you will never learn these things in school, your kids know them BEFORE they go there but not anymore after they graduate.
Then we got the chemtrail people: There is the argument that the extra mucus from smoking would be a beneficial extra lining of the lungs and breath apparatus against tiny particles like the aerosoles most people ignore or pretend are impossibly unlikely to exist.
As a smoker that idea seemed convenient, but since I'm stopping I no longer have that luxury. No idea if it's true but it doesn't sound any more far fetched than the common anti-tobacco propaganda we have been fed for 20 years.
Good thing I never wanted to live in a densely populated area anyways, but since chemtrails are out of my control I tend not to overly worry about them.
Fear is both free people's main enemy and control structures' main weapon.
So WHATEVER! ahahaha. In the end, this is pragmatic more than anything. It is time to cut system dependencies, the most stupid one by far is buying this damn tobacco all the time.
I may just start smoking again when I can grow my own, but voluntarily subsidizing these stupid tobacco companies with my life energy with increasing prices? Nah, I'm good now thanks! A 30g package is now around 7,70 euro and only going up. So we are long past the point of stupid.
"If the Fool would persist in his folly he would become wise."
And I have smoked ENDLESS AMOUNTS OF THEM in the last two decades...
I've been feeling edgy all day, but not bad or anything. Had pulled an allnighter the day before and slept 13 hours afterwards so I already cut half a day of my detox.
I prefer to do it that way if I must go cold turkey.
We are moving out of our italian house sit these weeks also. And getting ready to move back into a van with all the stuff is never really something my lady and I are stoked about. So we started the move-out early.
We are glad things continue now, we feel we have learnt a ton here and are better equipped than ever.
The loose plan is going westwards, we'll see where we end up. Since syntropic agroforestry has suddenly become a topic of interest for me I am now learning as much as I can, and we'll likely take up a workaway offer to visit some established farms on-site when we do go west in freakin' high summer. We need a practical grasp before ever starting something like that ourselves.
So I am keeping busy and thus far I have not felt the urge. More of a habit knocking on my door, but no draw.
If I do get the itch I got some fisherman's lined up already. And I have become good at quitting long-held habits this lifetime.
