Bad karaoke is good for the skin

This morning after another night of some much-needed sleep, I awoke to no kids and a video class! My kid's mother had taken them for the weekend the night prior and I saw the day before that there was a video class over at The Promo-Mentors discord with Hive account@kay-leclerc that started at 10 am pacific standard time(Saturday). Timing was perfect for this class as I had rolled out of bed around 9:30 am and didn't get my coffee going until 10:00 am. The show was starting soon. Luckily, Kay sympathized with my situation and gave us a coffee break before the class commenced!

This coffee took me a while to make so I just listened in to, what would end up being a freaking priceless class that should have cost money or encouraged some kind of donation.

Kay went on to describe what will be covered here in the Video Workshop channel at Promo-Mentors and the future plans!

The class went over lots of subjects pertaining to making videos for social media essentially. First, Kay went over a little theory/personal opinion on how valuable videos are in relation to photos and other basic concepts and infographics.

Kay went over three types of videos during the Video Workshop/class and gave some helpful tips for making a makeshift tripod as she stressed the fact that you don't need top of the line equipment to excel at making videos.

Kay then discusses storyboarding as a great way to organize your video making process for greater efficiency. This is a great tip and way to make videos!

Kay then briefly discussed action videos and how amazing GoPros can be especially with drones. She provides a couple of examples, the one post
shown here is from Hive account@unknovvn

Kay also went over the very important issue of intros and outros for videos. Length, branding, and messages were discussed.

Not everything she discussed was presented here in my post but she did give a brief synopsis of the workshop/class at the end of it.

Now it was off to the Hive account@steemgigs discord. I missed the main show but the after party was still alive and rocking! I ended up walking in on laughter and a request for us to sing for Hive account@towhid per Hive account@surpassinggoogle's request. I had to follow up Hive account@sn0wwhite's amazing performance with Terry with Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper.

I was having a problem with rythm not giving me the lyrics I wanted all day. Yes, I was there for at least 7 hours and the lyrics were often times extremely offensive.🙍

Hive account@darrenclaxton showed up but unfortunately, his timing was off and I do not recall him playing but his mic on as he strung the strings on the guitar. Hive account@snook even mentioned something about it.

Things got deep for a second there as mortality, health and life was discussed. People opened up about family members who passed and how a surprising member of the group couldn't even afford a phone or shirt. It was a bit much. I even had to leave and carry on to play some uplifting music. Then I had to come back for Hive account@quochuy and his performance as I saw he popped in shortly after I left. He swooned the ladies and since he was 8 hours late he had to sing two songs!

I ended our day of getting bad lyrics from rythm bot with accidentally playing an old Lamb Chops play-a-long radio/tv show via rythm

While I was at the Hive account@steemgigs server all day I cleaned our kitchen thoroughly. Dishes, the floor, and cupboards!

But I wasn't done yet! I saw Hive account@japfiv and I had to say hello. I asked him about his Ulog footer gif and if he had received it yet. He said no. So I told him to head over to the #ulog-footer-requests channel to talk with Hive account@phantum04 and to send her 0.1 sbd or steem for a Ulog footer like the one pictured here and really like the one I used below!
