The first day Mom came home from the Rehabilitation Center she asked for 's homemade chicken soup. I don't make it as well as she does but I do know how to make it. It is a wonderful and very easy soup to make. The only problem I had was I didn't have any chicken.
Not able to leave Mom alone, I asked her Gentleman friend Herman if he would be so kind as to pick up a chicken for us. He, of course, did and dropped it off that night.
Days passed. I did not have the time nor energy to make chicken soup until this morning. The video above is what happened after I took the chicken out of the grocery bag to start cooking it for soup.
To all the caregivers out there full and parttime. I don't know how you do it and have a life of your own. You have my respect and I am in awe of your powers of perseverance each day.
I know at some point I will be able to go home.
For those that don't have that, Thank You for being the kind of person that puts your life on hold to take care of someone. You are a very special kind of person. If you have never been thanked for all you do I am here to say it.
THANK YOU!!!
YouTube for those in need
