I awoke to a little more than a light dusting of fresh snow from the blizzard that struck the UK last week. Walking down the stairs in my dressing gown I was almost blinded by the layer of crispy white goodness that covered my tiny seaside town.

Living on the Devon coastline with mild temperatures and the salty sea air, we seldom get any snow. This was probably the most we've seen in over a decade. Now, as we are rarely equipped for such weather, the country pretty much shuts down and goes into an apocalyptic style crisis, and as for us photographers - well, let's just say we jumped at the opportunity for some stunning snow shots! So, I headed on out to my local nature reserve to capture the mystical scenery.
