I also created a path on the patio and cleared the sides of the house. There is a space about 2 cm wide between the sidings and the sheathing boards. Even in a normal wall structure with vapor barriers on the warm side of the thermal insulation, that is necessary. In our house that has wood fibre insulation and no vapor barriers, it is even more of a necessity.
