Status is built entirely on Ethereum technology and concepts. The platform also offers payment and cryptocurrency transfer services for ETH and other Ethereum crypto-assets. Its browser allows access to the Ethereum network by turning the client’s mobile device into a light client node. Users can browse decentralized apps and buy and sell goods and services locally on its online marketplace.
