Hello everyone, i don't know if you like soccer, if you do, you probably know who is Phillipp Lahm, even if you dont follow Bayern Munchen (my favorite team btw).
This is the last season of great players around the world (Xabi Alonso also from Bayern, Toti from Roma, etc) but as a fan this is the one that let say hurts me more, it was good to see them in action for mostly all their carrers.
He was (still is, in fact) one of the best defenders on that beautiful game, won anything possible for him to win (i'm not counting the Balon D'or, is a monopoly between Cristiano and Messi, haha)is the actual captain and it will take a loooong time to find someone like him on the team, he is one of the most down to earth players around the world.
Now with only 33 years he decided to retired to give chance to the next generation of Players, and i think is a good idea, he had everything now, i hope he comes back some day as assistant or even DT of Bayern.
Bayern Munchen:
333 Games, 12 goals, 27911 mins played, only 20 yellow cards and 0 red cards !!! (as defender is your job to do the dirty work, not red card show up how well he played)
Germany team:
113 Games, 5 Goals, 9915 mins, 10 yellows and again 0 red
The best thing is that Bayern will be saying good bye this year winning the Bundesliga and once again, for the last time, he will rise the trophie
