Despite Bayern's best efforts, Jupp Heynckes looks set to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season, and thus are now in urgent need of a new coach next summer. Speculation has been rife with managers such as Tottenham's Mauricio Pochettino and former Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel mentioned as possible targets.
Amid all of the speculation, Jurgen Klopp's credentials have been talked up by his agent, Marc Kosicke, who told German newspaper Sport1.
"Jurgen isn't too big for Bayern Munich and Bayern Munich isn't too big for him. He definitely could do a very good job there.
"Bayern and Klopp would be a good fit, but it isn't something that is an option at the moment.
"Coaching one of the big clubs in Europe isn't something that is unattractive, but everything has to suit.
Kosicke insists that Klopp will never switch Anfield for the Allianz Arena as the timing was never right for the manager to make a move.
"I have to say that Bayern was often an option because Jurgen knows Uli Hoeness very well. But it was never the right time, and nothing definite came of it," he added.
It does seem highly unlikely that Klopp will be moving to Bayern Munich, which leaves even more questions as to who will be Bayern's next manager. Who do you think it will be? Leave a comment down below.
