Premier League Preview
Im done with exams at university and just in time as the Premier league returns after the very exciting international break that we have had. Let's have a look at the fixtures the weekend has in store for us!
Fixtures
The weekend kicks off with a big one as we see Arsenal and Spurs go head to head in the famous North London Derby. A win is vital for both teams as they are looking to keep up with Manchester City at the top of the table, and a lot of pride for both teams are on the line.
Man City travel to former champions Leicester seeking another 3 points to set themselves up for a very good start to the season. Can Jamie Vardy stun the Citizens and cause an upset?
Liverpool host Southampton at Anfield, and this could turn out to be difficult for them. Liverpool is known to have struggled against Southampton in the past and they will have to play well and keep to their tactics if 3 points is the goal.
Chelsea play against West Brom. Tony Pulis is sure to play a very defensive game, but Conte's men will sure be up to the task. With the likes of Hazard and Morata, a team can only defend for so long...
A big clash between Manchestrer United and Newcastle United rounds off the Saturday fixtures. Nothing less than a victory will be acceptable for Jose Mourinho and the Red Devils, but it will be a hard battle seeing has Rafa Benitez has created such a strong Newcastle side.
Log
Looking at the log it is clear to see that Man City is in a very comfortable position and that the rest of the big clubs are just fighting for the remaining top 4 positions.
