Do you generally feel more connected with people or do you feel a disconnect? Before I start I want to say that I hold Steemit to a high regard because I believe they try to reward meaningful, engaging content - not the latest kardashian news; I don't know about you guys but often times I feel that the younger generations and myself often fall victim to things such as social media, and often lose ourselves in something that is generally superficial. I say superficial because when I look at most people on social media everyone looks like they are always having these awesome moments, but when you think of it, can you really have those awesome moments everyday? Every time someone asks for my instagram or snapchat and I tell them I don't have one they give me a weird look like if I'm not normal. It feels like different parts of our social lives are spread out in this ecosystem that weighs heavily on your appearance, and who you portray yourself to be to the general public.
Do you believe that the benefits of social media outweigh the cost?
