I haven't fully explored the details of PEAKD as I just joined last night.
But as far as my casual browsing is concerned, I believe it is a FREE SOCIAL MEDIA SITE where a netizen can freely express his/her opinions about everything, from simple issuee like a cat dancing to sensitive issues like CoViD-19, WITHOUT CENSORSHIP AND SELLING OF PRIVATE INFORMATION unlike most social media sites via blockchain technology - the same tech used by Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I am not techie so I cannot expound about the blockchain stuff just yet. Maybe next time.
But aside from the social media site being free where you can post without being censored and without them selling our private information, because it is in the cryptocurrency industry as well, the content creators (such as you and I) in this platform have a chance to EARN EXTRA INCOME basically via posting and commenting. The income given is in the form of their own cryptocurrency which is tradeable in certain crypto exchanges and convertible to cash or fiat currency which makes this platform more enticing than it is already.

For now, lemme just say I am excited in exploring PEAKD more like how I regularly used the old free social media sites before.
