For long time I had "is it really sharing?" feeling towards sharing economy.
The most typical example is an Airbnb apartment that is rent for business and furnished with IKEA or similar less expensive but trendy outlook furnitures. Is this sharing? I think it's just a room rent business. I don't mean doing business is bad and I know we have right to use service in a we want to as long as it's not illegal.
Coming back to the term "sharing economy", I looked up wikipedia for its definition.
Sharing economy is an umbrella term with a range of meanings, often used to describe economic activity involving online transactions. Originally growing out of the open-source community to refer to peer-to-peer based sharing of access to goods and services, the term is now sometimes used in a broader sense to describe any sales transactions that are done via online market places, even ones that are business to business (B2B), rather than peer-to-peer.

My image of sharing economy is close to the one written in the beginning of the second sentence. "Originally growing out of the open-source community to refer to peer-to-peer based sharing of access to goods and services ..." It doesn't say anything explicitly about money or return but as it mentions "open-source community", original idea of sharing or sharing economy isn't super super money focus.
When I think about a service of sharing economy, CouchSurfing comes up to my mind. It was launched in 2004. It matches hosts who are happy to let travelers stay on their couch and travelers who want to have unique experience with locals (and free accommodation). I'm a big fan of the service and was a user around 7 years ago. Without CS, I didn't meet my partner and my daughter isn't here ;) Hitchhiking is more spontaneous offline thing but quite similar in the sense it's based on people's hospitality. I did hitchhiking a lot too.
I don't deny that money make our society or human relation smooth. I didn't use CouchSurfing for a while. I prefer to stay at hotel when I want to be in silence or we search for a hotel room or a room on Airbnb when we travel as a family. But still I like the CouchSurfing philosophy and I'm happy to host travelers when my daughter grows up and we have our own home. Anyway I make meals for us, our couch isn't used in the night time and we are happy to meet travelers and return something to the CS community.
If there were a future CS (distributed CS!?), there is no fixed price but I will send small thank you such as 10 SBD. It doesn't have to be on Steem. But on Steem I have some money in my wallet and there is less psychological hurdle to do so. As a host I may have less stress to receive 10 SBD than to receive 10 USD. I cannot clearly explain why though. Fiat and crypto are connected but something different for me. I expect crypto to make our money transaction smooth both speed wise and psychologically.
I shouldn't look back the good old time too much but I see some potential that blockchain and crypto change current business focus sharing economy, which I don't think it's really "sharing."
I will start preparing seedlings next month for spring/summer. It doesn't make difference I prepare 3 or 10. So I just make 10 and "share" them with others. It will be a small protest to conventional old sharing economy ... and I'm dreaming about a plant/seed sharing network on Steem (my partner and friends working on this topic with a web based service named PlantHub). I will talk about it the other day :)
シェアリングエコノミー全盛ですが、なんとなく本当にそれ「シェア？」という違和感があって、ずっと言葉にならずにもやもやしていました（それ本当に「AI？」というのもあってこれはまた今度書きます）。
先週うちの相方に私がブロックチェーンに期待していることを説明した流れでこのもやもやが少しだけ言葉になったので書いてみます。
私が「それシェア？」と疑問に思う典型として、貸すのを前提に借りた部屋をIKEA的家具で埋め尽くしたAirbnbの部屋があります。何度か長期滞在でこういうところに泊まってハズレだなと感じました。これは「シェア」ではなく個人のお小遣い稼ぎというかビジネスでは・・・。ちなみに余っている部屋を貸している人の方があたりが多い気がします。これについては一昨年アルバにいた時に「How to avoid a wrong apartment on Airbnb」というタイトルの関連する投稿を書きました。
少しそれてしまいました。言葉の使われ方が変だと思った時は定義に戻ってみるとよいので、Wikipedia で「シェアリングエコノミー」のページを読んでみました。冒頭を引用します。

私が持っているシェアのイメージは2文目のOriginallyから始まる節に書かれたもの「Originally growing out of the open-source community to refer to peer-to-peer based sharing of access to goods and services」に近いです。この中で「share」は金銭の対価を伴うものかどうか触れていませんが、オープンソースとの関連から、当初はがっちがちにお金を稼ぐビジネスというよりも共有することに重点が置かれていたと考えてよいでしょう。
この金銭的対価の部分が私の違和感の原因のひとつだと思います。もともとAirbnbなどは遊休資産を共有して、貸し手も借り手もうれしいというものだったと記憶しています。Airbnbなどシェアリングエコノミーのサービス提供者はもともとのイメージでサービスを提供しているかもしれないし、違法でない限り使い方もユーザーの自由なことは理解しています。
シェアと聞いて私がしっくりくるサービスというと、まずカウチサーフィンが思い浮かびます。カウチサーフィンは、家にあるカウチ（ソファー）に旅人を泊めてあげるホストと旅人をマッチングするサービスで、対価のやりとりはありません。単に場所余ってるしおもしろい人きたら楽しいし泊まっていいよという。ヒッチハイキングはもっと行き当たりばったりでオフラインですがカウチサーフィン的です。
お金が世の中をスムーズにする部分は多いです。私もカウチサーフィンを使わなくなって久しいですし、ひとりで静かにしたい時、探すのが面倒な時はホテルがいいです。でももうちょっと子供が大きくなって、自分の家を持つことになったら、旅をしている人をどんどん泊めてあげたいです。どのみちご飯は作るし、夜カウチは空いているし。
対価をやりとりするとしたら、泊まった後に「ありがとね〜！少ないけれど10SBD送りました」的なやりとりが気軽にできるといいなと思います。自分が泊まったら心ばかりのお礼はしたいので。Steemでなくてもいいのですが、もうお財布にお金が入っている状態なので、送金の心理的ハードルが低くて、小さなお礼のやりとりがスムーズになることを期待しています。
古き良き時代を懐かしんでばかりいてはいけないのですが、ブロックチェーンや仮想通貨が今のビジネス志向なシェアリングエコノミーをもうちょっとだけなめらかかつ気持ちのよいものにしてくれたらいいなと思うのでした。
来月は園芸シーズンに向けて苗の準備を始めます。3つ作るのも10個作るのも大して変わらないので、おすそ分け用にも作って、ちょっと今はやりの「シェアリングエコノミー（本当に？）」に反抗してみようと思います。Steem上に植物やタネをシェアするネットワークができたらいいな・・・とも。これについてはまた今度！
