Once upon a time, there used to be me. Nowadays, I am not sure why I am scared to write as I used to. I never seem to get the time. Anyway, I thought I would write a blog today at least. There have been many goings on in all our lives. The present fuel shortage does seem alarming.

Now that it's summer and almost monsoon here, people should start thinking seriously about installing solar-powered units. In my honest opinion, the governments should appoint some local help groups to assist people in installing solar units so that the energy crisis can be managed better. Tropical countries best benefit from solar power. People can reduce their consumption of LPG and use solar-powered electric stoves and the like.
It will also be wise to start consuming easily cooked meals one time of the day, like rice flakes, millets, etc. Vegetable salads, fruit bowls, and the like are not only better but also delicious and healthy, besides being cheaper. It will also save fuel. Those who have enough firewood can use it, but it is not only a strain but also causes pollution and respiratory problems as well.

We had gone out of town and ate at a restaurant. The counter had a sign that read that the menu was limited because of the fuel crisis. Also, the food smelled like it had been cooked on firewood. It had a smoky taste. It was not too bad, though.
Life is not easy for all, especially during such times. Added to it is the fear of various viral infection stories.
One can only pray and stay wary and safe.
