These days when I look up in the sky, I have a smile on my face. I just cannot stop thinking that there are 4 people out there on a mission which will be first of it's kind. Absolutely, the Artemis II mission to the moon. I have been constantly following up on the Live feed of the mission, there are times when for hours there is stillness, but there is movement happening out there at 25K mph. When we look on the screen, it feels like it's stationery. Things in space are so different, it is still beyond our human's capacity to comprehend fully on the science of space.
I would love to see their journey around the moon, getting on to the other side, capturing images from there and sharing it with the world, what a big achievement. The sad part is that there are some people who can never think straight. So many conspiracy theorists coming up with their own theories of this whole mission. These are the people who do not wish to do anything constructive in life rather then just finding faults and problems with anything and everything. These people are already worried about militarization on space.

That's a fact that whoever will explore it first will always have a dominance but then that's how it works. Other countries will also follow post this mission and it's not like NASA is going to capture the moon and sit on whole of it. We are far far away from building a colony on moon, but yes with time as we progress in this space and technology develops, we may be able to harness some resources from the Lunar missions. It may change things for our planet. Everything has a limitation and so does our Earth resources, which we have been recklessly exploiting.
I am enjoying their journey, listening to the crew's on and off conversations that are happening. I love the plush toy Rise, which will be the indicator for zero gravity. It's been designed by an 8 year old child Lucas, what an achievement. The toy carries a SD card which carries name of 5.6 million people, who sent their names under the "Send you Name" campaign. Damn, how did I miss this, I wish I could have sent my name. Probably next time. 6 more days and this mission will be the first of it's kind successful mission. So far all good with them. April 6 is the big day when they loop around the moon.
