Ingredients for the cake:
250 g of all-purpose flour
150 g of margarine at room temperature
3 or 4 tablespoons of water
Procedure :
Knead the flour first with the margarine and add the tablespoons of water, and continue kneading until you have a uniform dough. If the dough is somewhat dry, add a little water, and if you have something wet, add a little flour.
Spread the dough with the help of a roller and take it directly to the mold. Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for about 40 to 45 min. Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature.
Ingredients for custard:
4 egg yolks
3 cups of hot milk
1 cup of sugar
7 tablespoons cornstarch
The whole crust of a lemon
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of butter
Preparation:
Mix the yolks in a pot with a wire whisk with the milk, sugar, cornstarch, lemon rind and salt.
Cook over low heat and always stirring; Bring to a boil and cook until thick. Remove from heat, remove the lemon rind and stir the butter. Place in a cool place until it cools.
Ingredients for assembly:
3/4 kg of whole and fresh strawberries.
Preparation:
Wash the strawberries and dry them. When the pie crust has cooled as well as the custard, add the latter in the crust until about 5 mm before it stops.
Above the cream, place the strawberries as you like, you can put them whole upside down, or chop them into slices to also decorate.
