Acceptance Standards for future Steem HardForks
We have been continuously producing blocks in the main schedule for the last two months thanks to all supporters who have been trusting our witness with their vote. During this time, we have been able to support and react during several mayor critical events, including two critical bugs which resulted in complete network “halts”. We have been also successfully witnessing the network during the “difficult” hardkfork 20 deployment times. Providing infrastructure, backups producing nodes, seed nodes, applying patches and working together with the rest of the witness team and blockchain developers from steemit inc. to make the transition to a stable chain state.
As for today, after several patches and incremental releases we, at
, have a high degree of confidence that deploying HF20 was the right decision to do.
Nevertheless, there has been some criticisms on the majority of witnesses that allowed a “buggy” version of steemd to run the blockchain resulting in several days of almost no transactions at all due to early problems with the new resource credits system that was deployed along the fork.
The problems seems solved now and our nodes seems to be accepting and validating transactions smoothly since one week. But we have a new hardfork (HF21) to be released in the coming months and this one is perhaps one of the most significant forks we have had and will include the awaited Smart Media Tokens functions.
As a witness, we are part of the governance of Steem representing with our decisions the stakeholders that vote us. Because of it we want to outline in a future post what will be our expectations and criteria in order to install future hard forks.
Now in the top 20 Witness we commit to delegate 25% of the total generated in Steem while we remain within the Top. These are the projects selected by the @Cervantes Witness to make delegations.

We have voted 850 posts belonging to our members, friends communities and other posts giving an average of 1$ per post.
The delegation has been used to curate content in a manual way, related to the disciplines of art, such as visual arts, plastic and scenic arts, literature and music. On a minor level, we have used the delegation to upvote our own posts (8.8% of the total upvotes) and support other projects with our upvotes (16.5% of the total upvotes), maintaining an average of five 100% upvotes a day.
All statistics are calculated on a 14-day basis using steemreports.com.
After the delegation of 4,000 SP made by to
we have grown considerably in different areas as this amount has allowed us to expand our project. This is a brief summary of the things we have achieved:
Voting value
With the Cervantes delegation and adding all our trail, Repollo’s vote has reached a value of $0.80 at 100%.
Curations
Almost 3 months have passed since the delegation, we have voted an approximate of 600 posts with an average value of $0.25 per post, granting more than $150 in votes.
Repollo Tag and followers
People looking to get a small reward and support the project are using the #repollotag, which is giving us visibility and more than 300 new followers.
Discord
More than 150 new people have joined Repollo’s Discord Server, providing value and a healthy interaction with the community. We are very grateful for the support, and as long as we are alive, we will keep our effort to provide value to the community.
The delegation of Cervantes came to @RadioSteemit as a ray of light.
2000sp that we have used in curation, amount of contests and small gratifications to the team for their work of dedication and dedication. In addition to connecting with more projects, always promoting active use in Steemit.
@RadioSteemit is a fusion project between Steemit and Discord through a radial space. It offers music and entertainment programming 24 hours a day throughout the week. Currently the public can participate in music programs, karaoke, contests, Top10 challenge, interviews and Top5 magazine. In the Discord channel rooms there is a #chat-community to meet other members of the community. Community members can also participate in the different challenges and contests of @RadioSteemit.
And from our community is what we have driven, our closest users, they have been the greatest beneficiaries and of course all the team that makes this project a reality.
The goal of @RadioSteemit is to offer entertainment and fun to all users who browse the Hispanic community of Steemit and seek in music a means to make friends and improve in the network. Promoting people, rewarding them and offering them quality music programming is the most important part of the project.
How have we used this delegation?
This delegation is wonderful because it has allowed us to be able to reward, through post curation, users who have participated in the different tasks offered.
We can say that these users get 50%, sometimes more, of the votes cast from @RadioSteemit.
Our team is a fundamental pillar and they have also seen these votes in their blogs taking 25% of the votes cast from @RadioSteemit. In addition to receiving small bonuses for their work in @RadioSteemit every week.
But "we always go for more", these words are almost our motto and another 25% of the votes, which we can issue, are being used to join forces with more communities and be able to generate higher amounts, in post of @ RadioSteemit and in other communities. Helping in the improvement of more attractive prizes for the users and motivating the activity in our community and in Steemit, enhancing their music, writing, reading, group cures, etc ...
Within this percentage we can include the Great Cervantes Community, issuing less votes to it than we would like but always thanking them for their support, work in Steemit and extraordinary career.
The @Mayvileros community has made use of the delegation as an incentive for users, since as we well know the platform had some recent changes, we kept up the fight by encouraging users who are already and those who are coming, to create good and quality content, avoiding plagiarism, any content that was plagiarism would not be supported.
With the support of the delegation we have been able to increase the number of votes distributed in the daily healing, we went from supporting 8 post and raised it to 15 maximum 18 publications a day.
Cervantes and seven curation accounts working six days a week and voting an average of 30-60 posts a day, several topics and only one condition, Spanish as a main language. The VP is finally regulated and we start almost everyday from 100%.
On September only with account we voted 999 post and generated 4.030 Steem on rewards.
Plus, our own projects.
Frontend is around 80-90% done.
The instructions for the next development phase, which are related to the backend, are being delivered. We are waiting on the developer to achieve those goals.
Every sunday one of our curators, curate 6-10 posts in a live streaming Twicht where people engage and the curators show their criteria and taste that make them choose a quality post. This project is been running for 10 months
Some of the most talented writrs create quality content every week about different topics. The total liquid rewards go to the creators. This past week the topic "War" generated a good discussion on the comments. The previous week the dangers of nuclear weapons...
On Cervantes Ciencia we have published 16 editions divided into two post. We currently have 8 active collaborators in the different areas. Three contest have been done, the last contest was photography and the winner was rewarded with 3 STEEMS. Now we are on energy series and on internal level we are organizing new work teams.
The second Cervantes Photography Contest is up and running for the last two months. A very popular contest that has two phases; the first one, about to finish, with eight different topics and three winners every week; the second one, only for the eight users that won each of the weeks in the first phase, will be a huge challenge for those users that will need to show their talent in a final contest with only one topic. Several STEEMS given as prizes and a final prize consisting in +200 STEEMS for the best.
Since Cervantes Presenta started 67 users have been presented and we have made a post of the 50 first users. Have a look to the post HERE.
In September, 7 presentations have been made.
In October, 5 presentations have been made (to date 16/10) .
