Muchas veces tenemos la creencia de que la cirugía plástica es usada para realizar procedimientos de embellecimiento o estética, cuando muchas personas con lesiones o como esta paciente con hemiplejía (incapacidad de movilizar los miembros inferiores) que presentó ulceras crónicas se pudo beneficiar de este magnifico procedimiento.
Se trata de un colgajo rotatorio de piel, tejido celular subcutáneo y muscular (fascia lata), el procedimiento es poco usual y la mejoría del paciente fue visualmente satisfactoria. Espero disfruten las imágenes.
