Dando continuidad al Reto 100 Post por Venezuela, seguidamente les presento de la serie Fiestas Tradicionales a la Virgen María del Rosario de Chiquinquira, la Virgen Morena, La Chinita, Patrona de Colombia y Patrona del Estado Zulia. En colombia se celebra cada 9 de julio y 26 de diciembre y por su parte cada 18 de Noviembre en Venezuela.
Continuing with the 100 Post Challenge for Venezuela, I present you with the series of Traditional Festivals to the Virgin Mary of the Rosary of Chiquinquira, the Virgin Morena, La Chinita , Patron of Colombia and Patron of the State of Zulia, each 9 of July and 26 of December, it is celebrated in Colombia and on the other hand every November 18 in Venezuela
Historia de la aparición de La Chinita:
En el año 1749, aparece la tabla donde se refleja la Virgen de la Chiquinquira a una humilde lavandera que estaba en el Lago de Maracaibo haciendo sus labores, para esos momentos cuando la anciana la recoge del lago no se veía la imagen de la virgen, al contrario ella se la llevo para usarla para cubrir la jarra de agua. Al día siguiente la viejita vio que en la tabla se reflejaba la imagen de la virgen con rasgos indígenas, procediendo a colgarla en la pared de un cuarto.
El 18 de Noviembre después de escuchar tres golpes y unos ruidos fuertes en el cuarto donde estaba la tabla, la anciana fue a ver y se encontró con un resplandor y se reflejaba un arcoíris por encima de la imagen de la virgen que ya se podía ver claramente; y cayó de rodillas exclamando ¡Milagro! ¡Milagro, inmediatamente después salió corriendo a la calle y les conto lo sucedido a todo el que veía.

Las celebración de la Chinita en Maracaibo Estado Zulia, comprenden misas, procesiones y fiestas con gaitas y ofrendas a la virgen morena, es un día de fiesta para todos los maracuchos y devotos de otras regiones del país.
The celebration of the Chinita in Maracaibo Zulia State, includes masses, processions and parties with bagpipes and offerings to the brunette virgin, it is a holiday for all maracuchos and devotees from other regions of the country.
