En esta oportunidad es propicio mencionar a lanzadores de la talla de Jean Machi que fue pieza fundamental de los Navegantes del Magallanes durante mucho tiempo y llego a jugar en grandes ligas con los Gigantes de San Francisco, actualmente tiene 40 años, es parte del roster de los Guerreros del Caribe. Rafael Cova también hizo historia con Magallanes y Tiburones de La Guaira durante 18 campañas en labores de relevista, en la actualidad defiende la camiseta de Delfines de La Guaira junto a Roger Luque lanzador veterano de 41 años quien jugo con los Leones del Caracas y otros equipos; en Delfines también milita, aunque con menos edad pero con trece temporadas en la LVBP, Gregory Infante un relevista que siempre estuvo con los tiburones durante 13 años dejando buenos números. Dentro de este grupo de veteranos aparece el nombre de Rómulo Sánchez quien llego a la gran carpa con los Piratas de Pittsburgh en 2007 y en LVBP ha pasado por Leones, Cardenales, Águilas y Tiburones durante 16 campañas.
Otros brazos como el de Manuel Flores de 35 años figura de los Marineros de Carabobo ( LVBP Leones -Caribes) Jean Toledo de 39 años Lideres de Miranda (LVBP Caribes de Anzoátegui). Omar Bencomo con Centauros de la Guaira, Wilfredo Boscán de Caciques de Distrito, completan un selecto grupo de pícher que han marcado una época y nos han deleitado en un pasaje de nuestras vidas como fanáticos. Pero recientemente en Venezuela y sobre todo en la liga de invierno se ha hecho muy común, ver a peloteros de otras ligas del caribe venir a jugar aquí, tal es el caso de Ricardo Gómez un dominicano de 43 años, ha jugado tres temporadas con Cardenales de Lara y en la actualidad forma parte del roster de Lideres de Miranda; es el lanzador de mayor edad de toda la Liga Mayor de Beisbol Profesional en Venezuela. Logan Duran y Alexis Candelario de 40 y 39 años respectivamente, dominicanos que juegan en Samanes de Aragua, Duran se ha paseado durante 6 temporadas entre Águilas y Tiburones, mientras que Candelario ha estado en tres campañas en la LVBP. Son lanzadores que aun les queda dinamita en su brazo o tal vez se niegan al retiro.
