Germán, cuenta con 9 años y sigue creciendo junto a su familia y a sus amigos, sobre todo del colegio. Únicamente le preocupa jugar al futbol, baloncesto, balón prisionero, vamos correr como un loco detrás de cualquier pelota que se mueva. Aunque en los recreos de la escuela también se dedican a jugar a otras cosas como:
el escondite: consiste en que uno se la "liga" y cuenta cara a la pared mientras otros salen corriendo y se esconden, luego tiene que buscarlos, y los que están escondidos tienen que llegar primero al sitio donde ha contado el que se la liga para poder salvarse.
el pañuelo: básicamente consiste en un "juez" que se pone en el medio con un pañuelo, y dos equipos de x personas, los dos equipos con el mismo número de personas, uno a cada lado del juez, las personas de cada equipo están numeradas del 1 al X, según las que sean. Entonces cuando el juez quiere dice un número y la persona que tiene ese número de cada equipo, debe salir corriendo hasta donde está el juez, una vez que llegan, una debe coger el pañuelo y volver con su equipo sin que el otro del otro equipo le coja, si le coge queda eliminado y si no pues se elimina el del equipo contrario.
1 x 2: consiste en que, el primero que se acababa el bocadillo del recreo, cogía el papel de aluminio con el que estaba envuelto. Con él, se hace una bola lo mejor que se pueda. La pelota se lanza al aire por cualquiera dándola con la mano o con otra parte del cuerpo sin que caiga al suelo y diciendo uno, el siguiente al que le vaya la bola la golpea sin que caiga al suelo y dice equis, y el siguiente igual diciendo dos, pero aquí el último al golpear la bola tiene que tirársela a otro compañero, si le da al otro compañero y no la coge tiene que salir corriendo a un sitio previamente pactado y los otros le pueden dar golpes hasta que llegue, si la coge en cambio el que sale corriendo es el golpeó diciendo dos la bola. También existe otra modalidad igual, pero que dura más la pelota en el aire, llamada a,e,i,o y u.
El rescate: se hacen dos equipos, en el colegio de Germán era uno de chicos y otro de chicas, un equipo se la "liga" y un miembro del equipo es el que custodia los rehenes. El equipo que no se la liga sale a correr, y el equipo que se la liga tiene que encontrar y coger a todos los miembros del otro equipo. Una vez que los va cogiendo los puede poner en un sitio o llegarlos todos de la mano hasta que estén todos. El otro equipo en cambio, puede liberar a los rehenes si llega hasta ellos sin que le cojan y les choca la mano.
Carrera de chapas: se hacían con chapas de vino normalmente y consistía en hacer una carretera de arena en el suelo y tirar las chapas por la carretera e intentar conseguir llegar el primero a la meta.
fútbol de chapas: este todavía existe incluso a nivel profesional y es mucho más conocido.
Rayuela (o muñeca): si pintan unas casillas con números con casillas simples y dobles, cosiste en tirar una piedra dentro de la casilla 1 y recorrerte todas las casillas a la pata coja sin pisar las líneas (excepto las casillas dobles que puedes apoyar un pie en cada casilla) así hasta llegar al final luego das la vuelta y vuelves por donde has venido, igualmente a la pata coja por las casillas simples pero esta vez tienes que recoger la piedra que has tirado y volver al inicio. Si lo consigues sin pisar luego tiras a la casilla número dos y así sucesivamente.
Escondite inglés: uno se la "liga" y canta (1,2,3 al escondite inglés sin mover las manos ni los pies) cara a la pared tan rápido o lento como quiera, los otros parten de un punto y tienen que ir acercándose hacia el que se la liga sin que éste les vea moverse. El que se la liga cuando acaba de cantar se gira rápido y no puede ver moverse a nadie. Si se Mueve queda eliminado, así hasta que todos estén eliminados o llegue alguno al sitio donde canta. Seguidamente se la ligará otra vez el mismo si han llegado o el primero que se movió.

Alguna máquina muy grande casi tan alta como Germán, que escupía papel como si estuviera fuera de sí, luego alguien lo cogía y se lo llevaba. Todo el mundo quería invitar a desayunar a Germán en el trabajo de su padre, así que se ponía las botas. Al volver estaba tan entusiasmado que no quería dormir aunque hubiera madrugado mucho.
