En esta ocasión para un Collab temático de Super Smash Bros, yo elegí al perro y el pato de Duck Hunt. Si bien nunca tuve ningún juego de Nintendo, recuerdo haberlo jugado en casa de otra persona y descubrir que tengo una pésima puntería 😅.
Para hacer el dibujo tenía originalmente planeado hacerlo en tradicional, usando acuarelas como de costumbre, pero el boceto que realizaba no me estaba gustando, además de que mi novio me había recomendado Aseprite, un programa para hacer pixel art, y me pareció más oportuno probarlo para esta obra.

On this occasion for a thematic Collab of Super Smash Bros, I chose the dog and the duck from Duck Hunt. Although I've never had a Nintendo game, I remember playing it at someone else's house and discovering that I have terrible aim 😅.
To make the drawing I had originally planned to do it in traditional, using watercolors as usual, but the sketch I made was not liking me, besides that my boyfriend had recommended Aseprite, a program to make pixel art, and I thought it more appropriate to try it for this work.

También iba hacerlo con el lineart a color, usando la paleta de colores del modelo de Smash Bros, pero para fortalecer el estilo "retro" que estaba invocando con el pixel art, decidí cambiarla por la paleta de colores de la NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) (bueno, algunos colores fueron ligeramente alterados para hacer la imagen más armoniosa) y el lineart negro, que me terminó gustando incluso más que el original. Y, como toque final, le añadí un borde negro con letras en diagonal, en referencia a varias portadas de juegos de esa época.
I was also going to do it with the color lineart, using the color palette of the Smash Bros model, but to strengthen the "retro" style that I was invoking with the pixel art, I decided to change it for the color palette of the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) (well, some colors were slightly altered to make the image more harmonious) and the black lineart, which I ended up liking even more than the original. And as a finishing touch, I added a black border with diagonal letters, referring to several game covers from that time.
