Al parecer, otro abominable hechizo ha acechado a la pequeña Ariel, ahora en adelante debe aceptar una dualidad mitológica, un nuevo concepto de belleza arraigado a la realidad.

Durante décadas muchos marinos han caído en las garras y en las finas voces de aquellos cantos de sirenas malvadas, hambrientas de sed, hambrientas de deseo, dulces anhelantes de la muerte.

Lamentablemente estas sirenas no gozan de la belleza de la hermosa Ariel por lo que ellas junto a la maligna Úrsula le han tendido una trampa a la Sirenita convirtiendo su belleza digna de la hija del Rey Tritón en una belleza extraña, mitad sirena de las oscuras profundidades, donde en los ojos de cualquier mortal básico la observaría como "un monstruo marino" y su otra hermosa mitad de cuento de hadas.

Unfortunately these mermaids do not enjoy the beauty of the beautiful Ariel so they, together with the evil Úrsula, have set a trap for the Little Mermaid turning her beauty worthy of the daughter of King Triton into a strange beauty, half mermaid of the dark depths , where in the eyes of any basic mortal I would watch her as "a sea monster" and her other beautiful fairytale half.

Proceso creativo

Comencé con un boceto y tracé las líneas para definir la posición de los elementos del rostro (cejas, ojos, naríz y boca). La inspiración de la silueta la saque de esta ilustración encontrada en Pinterest Iink.

I started with a sketch and traced the lines to define the position of the elements of the face (eyebrows, eyes, nose and mouth). The inspiration for the silhouette came from this illustration found on Pinterest Iink.

Realicé modificaciones inspirandome un poco en la criatura marina de la forma del agua que podrán visualizar en el siguiente Iink.

Le fui dando vida con colores vivos, utilizando distintos tonos de azul, azul claro, turquesa, oscuro, verde agua, verde agua oscuro y dos tonos de verde claro y fosforescente.
