Not that long ago AMC announced that they would be giving away Spider Man NFTs to those who purchased tickets to the movie and this helped to drive the second biggest one day sales for the film, it turned into a roaring success.
Tens of thousands of tickets were booked and the sales came close to beating the previous record that was set for Avengers: Endgame in 2019.
Now the success for Spider Man No Way Home continues as they see the highest pandemic box office opening and it is estimated that the film might bring in anywhere between $120-$150 million.
This is the biggest advanced opening since Avengers, and around the world it is estimated that the film might bring in some $380 million or more for the opening.
With the previous success that was seen with James Bond not long ago, and now with Spider Man No Way Home, the market is hopeful and things are looking up after such a drastic downturn during the pandemic. Those films have been helping the industry to get back onto its feet and recover from the pain.
Spider Man sales have been in such high demand, as we saw previously with the NFTs, that they've crashed multiple movie theater websites as people have rushed to book their seats.
