Ever wondered what all this spiritual talk is about these days? The Secret? The Laws Of Attraction? Universe? Energy? Crystals? Light? Darkness? Alignment? Next it's unicorns, fairy dust, and magic carpets right?
You are probably right.
Or, you probably just haven't spent much time learning about this whole bright and beautiful side of the world.
If you haven't, I'd like to welcome you to the other side, and want to encourage you on your unique and wonderful journey to waking up. I describe this "spiritual" world as being "AWAKE".
We all choose to believe in something right? I mean, even if you choose NOT to believe in something, that IS your belief to not believe in something. I feel confident to re-state that we ALL believe in something.
I believe in many things. The Law Of Attraction happens to be one of them. After all, I have lived quite the fulfilling life with ups and downs and I'm not even 30 yet!
I was able to win a World Championship, travel the world for 1 whole year, bring my grades in University from D to A+, and attract the love of my life.
Oh I also forgot to mention my latest manifestation - Working remotely and spending my time and energy doing what I LOVE to do - CREATING! Next up for me is a YouTube superstar, Blogger and Public Speaker - secretly I want to be on Ninja Warrior and I'd also like to be on the cover of a fitness magazine once all my hard work pays off.
Here is a VERY simple guide to get what you want using The Law Of Attraction:
*Think about what you really want - one specific thing or go big, general and paint a masterpiece of what you want your life to look like.
- a) If you go specific with one thing, that's great and the same instructions will apply to you as I describe below.
*b) If you go big and general with your life plan, great stuff. Now you will need to get VERY specific in EACH and EVERY SINGLE area you are wanting to shift.
*Understand that The Laws Of Attraction is just a fancy way of saying,
"Spend a lot of time writing down what you want, get comfortable talking about what you want ALL of the time, work really, really hard and put lots of loving energy into what you are wanting, do not spend time or energy on things or people who bring you down et VOILA!"
A little side note:
The answer to your question is NO. No you can't just close your eyes and imagine your life is going to be a certain way without taking action. The Law Of Attraction is about making and setting deliberate intentions. It actually takes a lot of energy, focus and patience. Most importantly, you need to keep a positive, light-hearted and happy attitude and vibe in order for it to work with you.
*WRITE DOWN on paper what you want in your life. Write a story depicting exactly how you want it to go and be in a good mental space when you do this. Listen to good music, go to your favourite little cafe, whatever you like. Just make sure you feel good whenever you're trying to attract something to your life.
For example, I wrote in a book "Hazel and amber eyes, his smile lights up a room when he enters. He is a fighter, a lover, compassionate, passionate . . ." BAM - I meet Jacob (The Fire -FIGHTER) two months later. (Keep in mind this was about the 4th list I've made" (Jacob = 4th BF)
You will write out Topics: Career, Finances, Love, Relationships, Friendships, Family, Nutrition, Health, Body, Mind, Spirit, Travel, Time, Energy, ETC - as many topics as you can think of you will list and get specific about what you want under each topic/category.
*Write out another list under each category about how you will get there.
For example, I wanted to Work remotely so I wrote a list of what I love to do most: write, talk to people, travel, express myself, connect on a deep level, help others, learn about life, stay in shape etc. To work remotely I need a job on my computer (for me). Integral Coaching Certification, writing everyday, blogging, photography, collaboration of all my hobbies into one and add in Network Marketing and you've got in a nutshell how I work remotely. I combine a lot of my hobbies! You can do the same. More importantly you get specific!
*Say what you are wanting every single day aloud and with passion.
Example: "It is May 30, 2017 and I am an annual six-figure income earner with residual income." - I say this every day and sometimes my BFBP Laura Stratton and we send each other videos saying this powerful affirmation.
*VISUALIZATION is ONE of the TWO most important factors in manifesting what you want. Spending 10-20 minutes each morning and each night. Imagine yourself in the process of having as well as actually HAVING what you want.
Example: I spent 30 minutes each day for 1.5 years thinking about winning the World Championships in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. PEOPLE - I WAS NOT EVEN TRAINING that whole time. I thought about the moves, sequences, the feelings, the environment, my team, my ability to have fun and feel confident, and I saw myself on the podium receiving my next belt. It happened EXACTLY. AS. I. IMAGINED. I physically trained for 4 months for that competition. Mentally I trained for 1.5 years (+ 4 months). I knew before I went that I was going to win. That's how much confidence I had.
*The SECOND most important factor in getting what you want. YOU HAVE TO BE HAPPY when you think about your goals, write about them, speak about them. The Law Of Attraction wastes no time on bitching and complaining about what you DON'T have right now. We get it! You are trying to manifest something into your life and it sucks right now that's why you are trying to make a shift - FAIR ENOUGH. What you do NOT realize is that every time you WASTE your energy on thinking about what you don't have ... you are actually manifesting MORE of what you don't want. Does that make sense? It has to so let me break it down.
YOU NOW: YOUR LIFE NOW SUCKS OR YOU WANT IT TO IMPROVE
YOUR DESIRE: YOU WANT SOMETHING
YOU FOCUS: YOU DO EVERYTHING IN THIS SIMPLE GUIDE TO ATTRACTING WHAT YOU WANT
YOU ARE BACK TRACKING: YOU CONTINUE TO FEEL SORRY FOR YOURSELF, TELL YOUR SAD STORY AND/OR SPEND TIME COMPLAINING, WHINING, BEING IMPATIENT ABOUT YOUR DESIRE TO CHANGE.
YOU ARE STILL NOT GETTING WHAT YOU WANT: YOU WON'T HAVE WHAT YOU WANT IF YOU FOCUS ON WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE. YOU GET WHAT YOU FOCUS ON.
YOU WONDER WHY THE LAW OF ATTRACTION ISN'T WORKING FOR YOU: YOU RETREAT AND SETTLE BACK INTO YOUR CRAPPY SPACE OF NEGATIVITY BECAUSE YOU WEREN'T WILLING TO SHOW UP IN A BIG WAY.
YOU BLAIM EVERYONE ELSE BUT YOURSELF: BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T INVEST YOUR TIME AND ENERGY FULLY AND SHOW UP FOR YOURSELF IN A BIG WAY, YOU POINT FINGERS AT OTHERS, YOU LASH OUT, YOU SIT IN MISERY. P.S YOU'LL STAY THERE UNTIL YOU DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
YOU HAVE TWO CHOICES: YOU GET BETTER AT USING THE LAW OF ATTRACTION AND LIVE IN PARADISE WITH A FEW STORMS AND CLOUDY DAYS. OR YOU DON'T AND YOU SPEND THE REST OF YOUR LIFE WALKING UNDER A GIANT STORM CLOUD WITH A FEW SUNNY BREAKS WONDERING WHY YOUR LIFE ISN'T GOING THE WAY YOU WANT.
DON'T BE LAZY. I CAN TALK ALL I WANT ABOUT WHINING AND BITCHING AND STANDING UNDER A DARK STORM CLOUD BECAUSE I HAVE MANY TIMES IN MY LIFE. I CHOSE AND CONTINUOUSLY CHOOSE TO GET BETTER AT USING THE LAW OF ATTRACTION IN MY FAVOUR. LIFE IS GETTING A LITTLE WARMER, SUNNIER, AND JUST ABOUT THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE.
*Check in with your intentions and make sure you adjust them if they are off or if your life circumstances have changed. Accommodate to your own life and desires. Things aren't static and so as you change, expand, grow and live, so will what you want. Make sure to adjust the language you use when you speak, write and share to these newly stated desires.
*Stay FAR away from people who bring you down. It's not the people who bring you down by the way. It's YOU. You choose to ALLOW them to dim your light or latch onto you for whatever reason (We know a lesson presented itself in the aftermath so of course, all is well). Regardless - if you are in someone's company or doing something that doesn't feel awesome, let it go or let them go. I can say from experience it's like a breath of fresh air to be set free and to free others.
You will only be pulled farther and farther from what you are wanting to attract to your life with those kind of barricades surrounding your access to live in bliss.
And that concludes my 10 easy, yet very time consuming steps on how you can use The Law Of Attraction in your favour to manifest what you desire most in life!
