My soul longs for fall
Fall is my very favorite time of year. It represents a time of rehoming for my spirit. My soul comes home to roost, weary from the summer's activities. Thoughts stop their whirlwind activities of scheming and planning and come back in to sharply focus on securing resources for the upcoming winter.
I have time to reflect on the year past, to give thanks for the blessings I've received and to prepare my mind for the year soon to come. This time is essential for me, necessary for me to commune with nature, talk with the moon and realign my soul with the universe.
Florida winters are mild
Winter isn't as much of an issue as in years past, when I lived up in the snow belt. Now that I live in Florida, I don't have the desperate drive to gather firewood and lay in supplies in case of snow ins. I do, however, lay in supplies of foods and resources that will be needed through our mild winters, simply because I dislike shopping so much.
My spirit soars with the outdoors
Fall is my season to rejuvenate and this year will be no different. I like to relax and enjoy nature as much as possible during this time. The weather here is phenomenal and I spend the majority of each day outside enjoying the beauty that mother nature provides.
Winter Tea
As the fall fades into winter, I find myself refreshed and ready to enjoy seasonal festivities with friends and family. Whatever the winds of fate blow my way, I am ready.
