I want to share an experience I had one morning.
MY TESTEMONY
Early in my walk with the Lord I was on my way to work one
morning and the sun was coming up behind me, over my right
shoulder, just over the horizon. And the moon was full in front of
me, just to the left hovering over the Palouse hills. I was telling the
Lord how beautiful His creation is and suddenly I felt this
incredible love coming down seemingly as far as I could reach out
my arms on either side of me, though I had my arms on the
steering wheel the whole time. As the love was coming down into
my soul I felt my love, in the form of praise going up and the love
coming down and my praise going up. It was the most intimate
experience I have ever had. As I was in this moment in time I lost
my perception of time and did not know how long it was going on.
Then the Lord told me that "my family was my first ministry" and
He also said " I am the vine and you are the branches." That is in
the gospel of John 15:5. It goes on to say that "you can do
nothing without me." That means that I can do nothing spiritually
of any worth without Him.
All this time I could not see the road, I just saw streams of light
coming down like you would see when you are under the water
and the light from the sun is filtered. The Lord must have driven
for me because I made it to work on time. Since then I have been
growing in the Lord and it is a wonderful adventure. God bless
